The Greek Wives Club

Thank you for joining us here at The Greek Wives Club!

We are your one stop source for all those interested in educating themselves about the Hellenic world and beyond. We aim to educate, empower and inspire women teetering on the edge of Mount Olympus by providing information on Greek traditions, marriage, dating, domestic ‘duties’, cooking, fashion, beauty, travel, language and much more.

The club originally started as a place for all the wives, partners and girlfriends of Greek men (and any other interested folk) to come together and share their comical tales, frustrations, recipes and general philosophy about life with a Greek man.

Since its founding in 2012, the club has expanded into a large community of women (and the odd gent!) who have links to the Hellenic world, whether that be through direct Greek heritage, marriage, business, or travel links.

Cultural understanding is a very important topic in today’s modern society and our club addresses issues such as living with cultural differences, family support and comical themes about life as well as advocating all things Greek.

We effectively act as a directory/networking platform to allow members to socialise with like-minded individuals and help to promote businesses, bloggers, authors and others whose work centres around relevant themes. Operating on a world-wide basis, our affiliates include Greek wedding, christening and other events companies, mentoring associations, Greek fashion designers, authors who are either Greek or write about related subjects, Greek food bloggers and many more.

So if you want to help get your fellow Grecians out of the kitchen or you yourself are just seeking solace when one too many plates have been smashed, you have come to the right place.

You don’t have to be a Greek wife to join in but you do need to have a sense of humour!
